Is there a sign-up fee?
No. As a member of McHCAR, this service is offered to you free of charge.
By enrolling, this program gives you access to all of our design, print and mailing services, as well as:
- A secure and personalized web account hosting all your provided personal contact information, personal photo, company logo and payment options.
- 24/7 access to your on-line account complete with up-to-the-minute order status.
- Use of McHCAR Mail’s national residential and business database of over 100 million homes updated monthly.
- The ability to load your own personal database/mailing list by using our Microsoft Excel Template.
- Use of McHCAR Mail’s on-line advanced design tools to help you create unique postcards with a few simple clicks of the mouse.

Do I have to sign a contract?
No. We’re confident that once you try McHCAR Mail, you’ll continue to use our services. Therefore, we do not require any contractual obligation. We only ask that you read and accept our Terms & Conditions.
Can I send you my photo and company logo?
Yes. Once you have enrolled, you will have the opportunity to upload your photo. We can assist you in setting up your logo mark on McHCAR Mail at
No Additional Charge.
Can I purchase a mailing list through McHCAR Mail?
Yes. You can purchase individual records through our SmartsweeperSM online mailing list generator obtained from a national list compiler, which has over 100 million residential addresses updated monthly for you to choose from. Using our SmartsweeperSM, you can select an area to which you would like to market to, and the system chooses addresses automatically! You can also select by demographics and be extremely specific about your search criteria, such as addresses by street or zip code, age, gender, income, hobbies, and much more.
How much does it cost to use your mailing list?
Based on the amount of cards on order, each record (i.e., name and address) may cost as little as 8¢ per record.
How often is your mailing list updated?
The list is automatically updated on a monthly basis.
Can I use my own list?
Yes. If you have your own mailing list, you can upload it to our website with our provided Microsoft Excel Template.
How do I design a card online?
You can choose from a variety of professionally designed templates or create your own one-of-a-kind postcard. With our online design tools, you can select fonts, colors and upload your own imagery.
What postcard sizes do you offer?
We offer several postcard sizes from Small (4.25” X 6”), Medium (6” X 9”) (normally considered Jumbo) and Large (5.5” X 11”).

Are volume discounts provided by McHCAR Mail?
Yes. As with any business, volume drives pricing so the more you order the more you save.
How can you have such fast turnarounds?
McHCAR Mail's direct-to-print process allows your order to go directly from our website to our digital presses. Most orders are printed and mailed within 24 hours.
What are my postage options?
McHCAR Mail currently provides two postage options. They are as follows:
- Standard Mail (considered business class - can be a cost effective way to send Medium and Large postcards). Delivery times on Standard Mail ranges between 8-14 business days.
- First Class (used on all of our postcard sizes for expedited delivery). Delivery times on First Class Mail ranges between 5-8 business days.
* Delivery times may fluctuate during peak mailing times of the year, such as holidays.
* Due to conditions beyond our control, McHCAR Mail is not responsible for postal delays of time-sensitive materials.
A few of my postcards came back to me as undeliverable. Why did this happen?
Usually, the reason mail comes back undeliverable is because the U.S. Postal Service does not recognize the address or addressee may be unknown, has moved, does not have a forwarding address, or is deceased. So only the undeliverable First Class pieces come back to the sender with free forwarding and return.
As much as we try, inevitably, a small portion of mail does not make its way to its final destination partially because of the above reasons. To avoid this, please review your list prior to uploading to ensure that all names, and addresses are correct.
